In this online masterclass, Julian King will introduce the Value for Investment (VfI) approach, which was developed to assess the value of public policies and social investments. Julian will discuss the theoretical origins of the VfI approach and show how it is used to integrate outputs from cost-benefit analysis with wider evidence and perspectives. Using a worked example, Julian will demonstrate how the approach can be used in practice and point participants to online resources they can use to apply the VfI approach in their own work.
