This online course focuses on a recent addition to appraisal – wellbeing analysis. It is a practical course, focusing on how to apply wellbeing analysis in your work. The course will begin with an overview of wellbeing, its measurement and why it matters in economic analysis. The use of wellbeing in economic appraisal will then be introduced with a focus on cost-benefit analysis (CBA) and cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA). Common challenges will be addressed through specific examples.
