Filippo has more than 20 years of experience with governmental entities and major consulting firms, providing extensive economic and energy industry insights. Filippo is Managing Director, Alvarez & Marsal where he combines deep energy industry experience and
economics knowledge to support clients in major transactions, developing business strategy, investment
cases and energy policy. He was previously Managing Director at MAP and chief economist and transaction advice leader at Arup.

Filippo started his career in the UK Civil Service, where he spent seven years as senior economist in the energy policy team. Filippo holds an MsC in international economics from University of Nottingham and a laurea summa cum laude in economics from Universita’ di Trento.
